Types of responses in checklist templates

Type questions in the column "Question" and choose a type of answer you need in the column "Type of response".

The correct response type to a question is also very important for the correct understanding and implementation of any task.

By default, the response type “Text” is offered when creating a new template. The list of response types appears in the window that opens after clicking on the check mark on the right in the response line when creating a template.

Text

“Text” is a response type that requests alphanumeric data in the response line. There are two possible text response formats. Using the format of a Short text answer allows to type a text no longer than one string. Using of a Multiline text answer implies the possibility to type a text several strings long.

Multiple choices responses

“Multiple choices responses” is an answer type where the Administrator creating the test template can select from existing answer lists or create their own lists of answer options.

Person

Slider

“Slider” is a response type that allows you to answer by selecting numeric values ​​within a specified range. When this response type is selected, the template creator sets the scale response settings: minimum value, maximum value, and scale increment. By default, the minimum value is “0”, the maximum is “10”, and the scale step is “1”. Changing the range and scale step parameters is possible in the question format settings.

Minimum-maximum

“Minimum-Maximum” answer type is a slider option in which there is no scale step. When answering this question, a choice is offered between the minimum value, the norm and the maximum value. Media

“Media” is a response type where the response field requests the upload of media files. Depending on the file type, it is possible to upload an image up to 10 MB in size and a PDF file up to 20 MB in size. Date and time

“Date and Time” is a response type in which the response field requests date and/or time information. Depending on your needs, you can configure the response field to display only the date, only the time, or both the date and time. You can choose what you need by changing the format in the question settings.

Location

Site

“Site” is a type of response in which the inspector is asked to select the required an object of inspection from the Inspection Objects directory which is called “Sites”. Sites can be buildings, structures, stores, retail outlets, workshops, their sections, branches, departments, etc. The directory (list) of Inspection Objects is created by the Administrator when filling out the Enterprise Profile.

“Link” to report is a response type where the User is required to specify a report on a previously conducted check. During a check, the User will be offered a choice of checks previously conducted in the service as an answer to this question.
